Aspects of God

Aspects of God

I believe that we are all just different aspects of the ultimate energy we generally call God. Because this energy is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent…it is capable of expressing itself in many forms at the very same time. I am this energy expressing itself as Aaron. All my family members are this energy expressing itself as each of them. This energy expressed itself as Jesus, Elvis and yes, even now, is expressing itself as Trump. So you see, I believe we all are truly connected and are one of the same. This is why we have to be kind to each other. Because what we do others, we really are doing to ourselves.

Microcosm and Macrocosm

Microcosm and Macrocosm

Microcosm and microcosm refers to a concept where the part reflects the whole… and vice versa. If there is any one concept that fits the universe and existence, it’s this one. And it shows us that we (and all things) are truly one. It seems we can pretty much find truth in anything…whether it is the Bible or the latest issue of People Magazine. This is because truth is not in the words themselves, but in our understanding of them and how they relate to us. And it is this way with everything around us. As we are all energy and originate from the same source, we (and all things) are connected. Its through this connection that we are able to be aware of all things. And we can use this awareness, to help us understand everything and how it all relates to us. Looking at everything from microcosm and microcosm point of view, can truly give us a sense of order about our existence.

Metaphors

Metaphors

One of the reasons metaphors resonate with all of us, is that they point us to better understanding of a particular concept. Metaphors grant us the ability to see things from a different (and sometimes more resonating) perspective. It’s kind of like a completely new language, that doesn’t rely only on words to convey the meaning. Instead, metaphors force us to use our imagination, to convert concepts into understanding that might otherwise be lost with just words. Language is just one form of communication and is far from a complete form at that. Understanding is more than just “knowing” what the words mean. Understanding is also being aware how the concepts behind the words, relate to our particular reality at the moment. And this is why metaphors are such a great tool for conveying concepts. They are like a picture…worth a million words.
