Intent

Intent

Intent without understanding the actual reason behind the intent first, is just wasted energy. It’s import to know “why” we want something to manifest, otherwise there will be no real energy for its manifestation. Intent without energy is like a car without fuel. The car may be high performance and ready to go from 0 to 60 in 6 seconds. But without fuel…it can’t even move an inch. And for an intent to manifest itself completely, it also has to be true to the one requesting it. If you don’t really believe the intent, it will never get out of the starting gate. This is why it is so important, to know the why behind the intent. When we know the why…we can honestly get behind the intent, whole heartily.

Aligning Yourself

Aligning Yourself

You ever notice why you’re  drawn to someone’s advice over another? One person can give you the most clearest reasons why the path you are choosing is wrong. Yet you sometimes repeatedly, take the path that causes you the most pain. I believe this is because you may feel more aligned with the wrong path. Let me explain. If you have a negative view of yourself, you will tend to be more drawn to the advice of others, that align with that negative view. It is literally the path of least resistance. I think this is why sometimes people stay in abusive relationships. The abuse they receive, confirms the negative view they already have of themselves. And even though friends or family tell them they are worthy of more…they have trouble accepting it, because it is contrary to their pre-established internal view.Ultimately, we need to define ourselves internally and not externally. But what if that internal belief system is already flawed? If we have already internally established that we are unworthy, no little frekin post-It notes of positive affirmations, is going to make any difference. This is because positive affirmations or even our actual positive actions for that matter…are still just external things. And our internal beliefs will refuse to accept them, as they do not align with them. So the key is then… to work on first changing the internal belief systems, that we have already established. And by choosing to create a positive internal space…any growth (be it internal or external) will grow naturally, in a positive and aligned way.

Last Emoji

Last Emoji

Tonight it dawned on me…that in any text conversation that I might have, I’m always feeling the need to send the last comment or emoji. And I wondered why. Perhaps this has something to do with me not being comfortable receiving. I’ve always felt more than comfortable being a giver than a receiver. But as someone once remind me (very recently), learning to receive and receive willingly, is just as important as being able to give willingly. The “willingly” part of the giving & receiving, is what I believe provides complete acceptance of both. And if you follow my blog…you know how important I believe acceptance to be. So the next time I don’t end a conversation with a happy emoji…just know I am practicing how to receive.

Undo Your Nots

Undo Your Nots

We all have too many “nots” in our lives that can impede us from realizing our goals. Undo your “nots” by simply altering what you say.  Try replacing  “I am not or I can not” with “I am or I can” in your speech.  It can sometimes make all the difference in whether we succeed…or not.
